Transmetal 2 Transmutate by Unicron9 Transmetal 2 Transmutate by Unicron9
...and right as Transmutate came down with it's force field, trying to stop it's only two friends from killing one another, it realized it was too late.
Though it stopped some of the firepower they had launched at one another, Silverbolt was no more than flaming scattered remains.

Rampage however, was barely hurt at all, and healing before the mentally and physically challenged robot's eyes.
"Come quickly friend. The maximals are on their way. They will do to us what I have done to the fuzor."

Looking back, transmutate saw the Maximals coming. It grabbed its remaining friend and flew them quickly around the cliff, escaping their pursuers.

It didn't take Rampage long to rewire Transmutate so that its alt mode scanners functioned.
A saber toothed tiger roared from the cliff above, seeing the green scanner rays not far below. And then the light enveloped the creature briefly.
"Transmutate... do this now. Allow yourself to become purely wild. Transform to your new form. Yes... YES! AAAaaaahhahahahhahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

"ROOOAR! Transmutate make... beast mode."

I changed the "he's" into "it's" because I am tired of people telling me Transmutate was a female regardless of the fact that they never once called it a "she" in the show.
I seriously doubt the writers were worried about the damed sex of the jacked up ROBOT that appeared in just one show. Not having a clue what it was supposed to be was part of what made the thing interesting. I was wrong to assume it was a "he", but seriously people look too deep into half-ass made up ideas sometimes...

Gender Should exist in any of the transformers iterations EXCEPT Beast Wars and Beast Machines [because the robots have biological componets].  Transformers don't sexually reproduce there for sex is irrelevant and the only reason the transformers are given there "genders" is to make them more relatable to people.

This is a bad ass action figure though way cooler than the Motorcycle thing that I have seen before this.

Hah I remember people bitching here when I posted this one because I called Transmutate a him or it. Something like the wiki called her a her or whatever, but it will always just be the freaky mutant thing in one BW episode to me.

Well I think that They refer to Transmutate as a Her mostly because of the Female Voice actor. But like I said Robots really don't have a gender because they don't sexually reproduce. a Funny little nod to this fact is that In the Japanese Dub of Beast Wars Air Razor was played a by a man. If Robots Did have Gender that would make Tigertron And Air Razor Gay.

Yes sir it sounds like it would make them gay.
But also how about this one to ponder about Transmutate's sex then. It was a female voice actor but that female was gay. So intensely gay in fact, that she married another woman, so does that kind of make transmutate back over to the male bot role, or does it make transmutate a big mutant lesbian? :)
I didnt think Sue Blu sounded like a female when voicing transmutate, and I think that was probably part of the point too.

I always feel Transmutate, and this figure does the character justice.
( always felt Transmutate needed a savage looking beast mode....)

I found out that the figure you used is called a Cybertooth from the SPAWN series. It's funny since I found the figure at a local comic book store the same day I saw this! XD

I thought Transmutate was female?

Anyways, good job on the Transformer, even though the "saber-toothed tiger" mode looks a lot like a xenomorph.

Very beautiful. But transmutate had been defined as female, according to my sources, such as the script 'n all. Loving the paint job either way.

Maybe, but they never referred to it as having a particular sex in the show at all and I'm not worrying about things from the original script. That would be like taking it to heart that Bumbledoor from Hairy Pottor is gay just because the writer later said that, although it wasn't in the books.

Even so, both Harry Potter and Beast Wars did lend -some- evidence towards those notions.

I saw no evidence that Bumbledork was gay. I'm no huge Harry Pothead fan though.
My point was it doesn't matter what he/she is since they didn't specify in the one show she was in, but fanbawys will sure tell you any little barely known detail that was only stated in alternate universe comic #622 or whatever.
I know Susan Blu, the original Arcee, voiced Transmutate. I still just figured it was an "it" though.
TF fans particularly do the correcting thing, even about G1 stuff, saying "in the comics the true story of that situation was told" and such. It's made up stuff. There is no true story, Transmutate doesn't have a sex, and Bumbledore isn't gay. They aren't real.
Just talking here though, I know you meant no offense, and neither do I.

Perhaps. Though you make little attempt to veil your more personal opinions on the fictions at hand. Without personal offense to you, that somewhat comes off to me as unprofessional and a little childish.

That aside, I would agree. Under technical terms no transformer has a sex. They merely have a gender and a body shaped to reflect that. To be clear on that, sex is defined as having the parts, and gender is the mental concept of what it means to be male, female, or anything else. From one who would prefer to look at the intended truth of things, I would suggest this viewpoint: Transmutate's protoform had -originally- been that of a -female- transformer, but due to severe damage that resulted, the physical characteristics became marred beyond significant recognition as well as the mental concept would be practically null.

I just like to find depth and reason for what things are, and if anything is, as they say, more than meets the eye. It just makes the fiction firm and juicy. :P

Nah, I'm only saying that if they don't refer to "it" as a she one single time in the show, it isn't a she, no matter what fan rumor, writer's afterthought, or behind the scenes idea you might have read. The topic of robots technically having a sex, like cocks and balls and such, is way off from where I was going there.
I'm not sure what personal opinions I should veil... or whatever, but yeah, I am moderately childish. Known fact.

It shall remain an it for purpose of argument. And I know that anatomical sex was not exactly in line with your statements, but nevertheless poses an explanation for what things are.

As for your personal opinions, it should be obvious. But that's irrelevant now.
