I thought I was just going to be doing a few additions to Rampage here for accuracy, but it turned into a 12 hour job... On my Rampage, the red transmetal paint was chipping so bad I had to scrape the rest off and redo it. Then I decided to mask off the red X design on his crab back and spray some blue over it to get a purple fade effect. I like how that came out, but in contrast with the claws, it doesn't look very purple. Then I came up with a way to make his crab legs look more accurate in robot mode by drilling the holes that his arms peg into for beast mode all the way through, adding a 1/2 inch 5mm peg in the holes so they stick out of the sides, and cutting the arm pegs shorter so they can still peg into what little hole is left in beast mode. With the new pegs on the sides of beast mode and the screws that hold his beast mode legs on his robot arms removed, I can take off the legs and attach them to his shoulders with the other 2 legs so he looks right and has better arm articulation. All 4 pegs were thickened and then sanded to fit tightly so the legs do not fall off easily in any mode. Then I painted him up a bit more and here's what I ended up with.
I've been told bleach will break apart the metal laminate on these figures and on models. I used it on my daughter's fire truck and on a Rockman X model with varying degrees of success. It bubbles it off and does no damage, but the reaction requires a large amount of bleach for a perfect removal. Good work as always on the Beast Wars figures!

Rinox was always my favorite character though. ^^ Him and the Cheetah.
Still crustacians are cool. ^^
It's too bad you took off the legs from his arms, if you turn and straighten them they make cool sword like weapons to battle Depth Charge with.
